A normal day in the life of FLS finds family members of the students, community patrons, alumni, volunteers and Faith Lutheran Church members engaged on-campus. This includes everything from serving Hot Lunch, helping with a fundraiser, supporting the work of the teachers, spending time with the students in various ways, and decorating the campus for holidays, to name a few. This inspires relationships among families that often turn into life-long friendships. A testament to this is the continued involvement of alumni and their families. These relationships impact the students through the furthering of our mission, encouraging our children to advance and mature academically, spiritually, socially, and physically, and serve their families, their community, and the world.
"For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ...For the body does not consist of one member but of many." 1 CORINTHIANS 12:12, 14
"...in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests, but each of you to the interest of others." PHILIPPIANS 2:3B-4
While the school comes from a distinct Lutheran ideology, it is not elitist. Many denominations are represented within
the student body.

Racial and Ethnic Diversity
We are proud to be a school that serves a wide-range of ethnicities and nationalities. God created us as a diverse
people. Therefore, He wants us to appreciate our individuality. Historically, this has been a core value of Faith
Lutheran School and continues to be so.
In agreement with the Scriptures, Faith Lutheran School welcomes and esteems the uniqueness of each individual
student. We recognize that each student varies in cognitive aptitude, learning styles, and instructional responses. As a
result, teachers and administrators enthusiastically cooperate together in using diverse strategies to serve a broad
host of competencies. Students are taught to accept these differences, which is an important step in their spiritual and
social maturation. Variations in intelligences, abilities, strengths, and interests enrich the school.
Faith Lutheran School is dedicated to the belief that no student should be turned away on the basis of economic
difficulty. A high percentage of our school population receives monetary help. Tirelessly, FLS strives to increase the
ways we can provide financial easement.
